Joan Lampart, Atlantic Region Director, has established an email distribution list to facilitate communications in the Region. The Maryland Volkssport Association (MVA) is hosting the list. The list address is arnews@mdvolks.org. At the present time anyone may post to the list. This would be a good way to advertise an upcoming event, to make people aware of a change in a Year Round Event, to announce a meeting of interest to the general public, or for any other communication which would be of interest to the walkers in the Atlantic Region. Joan has requested that the list not be used for discussing controversial topics, and flaming of list members is not acceptable.
If you would like to subscribe to the ARNews, send an email message to majordomo@mdvolks.org with the following command in the body of your message:
subscribe arnews if you wish to have mail delivered to the account from which you are sending the request.
If you want mail delivered to a different account, then use the command:
subscribe arnews address@domain
If neither of these works for you, send an email message to Bill Guion and explain that you wish to be subscribed to arnews and what email address you want to be your subscribed address. Bill will take care of you.
