Start times: The Visitors Center is open from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The Visitors Center is closed Thanksgiving.

Event description: The trail is on historic business and residential streets and also on natural surface paths along the Woods Creek Trail. The trail goes through the Stonewall Jackson Cemetery, the Virginia Military Institute (VMI), and the Washington and Lee campus.

Award and fees: The award is a 100% embroidered patch as pictured above ($7.00). Credit only is $3.00.

Directions: From I-81 in Virginia, Exit 188 and follow Route 60 West to Lexington. Follow the signs to the Visitor Center. From I-64 in Virginia, Exit 55 and follow Route 11 South into Lexington. Follow signs to Visitor Center. Public parking is available at the Visitor Center.

Water and restrooms are available at the Visitor Center and Jackson Memorial Hall.

Several restaurants and shops are available along the trail.

Pets are not allowed inside the Visitor Center. Pets must be leashed at all times.
