10 km (6.2 miles) walk through "America's Most Historic City" enables the walker to explore a dynamic and growing city, rich in tradition and charm. The walk features the scenic Rappahannock River, historic Fredericksburg, the length of the University of Mary Washington campus, and grounds fought over during the Civil War Battle of Fredericksburg in December 1862. 10 km (6.2 miles) walk through Historic Ashland with its serene landscapes, historic architecture, and trains that rumble down the main street. The route also passes through the beautiful campus of Randolph-Macon College. Trail Rated 1. This year we offer an "A" Award patch at this walk.
